Know the Truth

This online book is a prophetic message that has critical implications for the Church if she is to be what God intends her to be in these "perilous times". It is a message that applies to the whole Church but especially to those believers who have been seduced by the "lying signs and wonders" phenomenon (i.e. "slain in the spirit", "holy laughter", "shaking", etc.). This book is one of the best responses I have read to what is the apostate condition of the "Church" evidenced by the naivety and gullibility of believers to blindly accept what is being promoted in the name of Christ without regards to holiness or His Word. It may very well be a demonstration of God's mercy to bring warning prior to judgment.

Most of these are very insightful audio messages that outline the Biblical response to the "Passion" movie and issue both a rebuke and a warning to those Christian leaders who have endorsed and recommended it to their folowers. The speakers do an excellent job of exposing the lies associated with the movie and exhort true followers of Jesus Christ to be discerning. Those believers in Jesus Christ who intend to remain faithful to their high calling will experience increasing pressure from the world and from religious systems to compromise and even abandon their faith. The lines of demarcation between believers and unbelievers are beginning to be drawn more clearly as these articles demonstrate. The world and institutionalized religious systems hate us because we declare the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as the only way to God and because we represent the God that they so vehemently hate. It's time for us to prepare ourselves for the stand that we will be required to take. Get more close to God than you have ever been before. Stay daily in His Word and in regular communion with Him. Abandon all forms of sin, worldliness and temporal pursuits and remind yourself often of the eternal perspective and the promises that are to those who overcome and endure to the end. Discern the Lie

Since when do we answer to anyone other than God with regards to what we preach? We should not care one bit about what any government tells us we can or cannot say when it comes to proclaiming truth. We are to obey God, not men (Acts 4:19-20). And why do we trust in the arm of the flesh to protect us when our utter dependence should be on the One we declare is our Lord? - (1 Corinthians 7:23) Imagine Peter and John taking out "liability insurance" to legally protect themselves from the priests and the Sadducees. We have become afraid of what man can do to us and forgotten "Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" (Matthew 10:28). Every institutionalized religious organization masquerading as the "Church" will soon come to realize how they have sold their souls and exchanged their freedom in Christ for their precious tax exempt status. The Church has no business placing itself under the jurisdiction of any government except that of God Himself. It is only the love of and dependence on Mammon that necessitates such compromise. The Truth About Church Incorporation is a good study about how "churches" have undermined the Headship of Christ by incorporating as 501(c)3 corporations and "signed a contract with the federal government which they have become legally and morally liable to obey." When will the Church begin to act like the Church and demonstrate complete trust in God and a separation from the "world system"? When we believers in Jesus Christ come out from among them - the apostate institutionalized religious organizations - and be that Church!
