Scorn for "The Perfect Church"

Discern the Lie

This sarcastic reply to the post I referred to yesterday ("The Perfect Church?") on the Five Doves website reveals how much Satan hates it when believers begin to get a picture of what God intends for the church to be. Rather than encouragement and hope, there is only discouragement and scorn offered in reply. God will have a "perfect church" that is going to consist of those who will follow the Shepherd and Head of His body, and not those usurpers who are building their own kingdoms on the backs and wallets of His people. Neither will it consist of those who see fit to mock and scorn His will and who are content with the status quo at the expense of truth and righteousness. "Be not deceived, God is not mocked..." Galatians 6:7-8.

"The Perfect Church"

Know the Truth

This post on the Five Doves website is an attempt by the writer to describe what "church" would be like if God's Word was followed. While it may not be totally "perfect," it reveals a longing in the heart of this man to see the true kingdom of God accurately demonstrated in the assembling of believers the way it was done in the New Testament church of the first century. God is placing this hunger in those who are truly called by His name and who are sickened at the state of what modern man calls "church." I know that I have this longing inside of me in that I am tired of institutionalized religious meetings that are designed with all their false practices and doctrines to build the kingdoms of the men who lead them. This longing is from Him and those of us who have it in our hearts must diligently and humbly seek Him to know what He would have us do.

Where Are the Prophets?

Know the Truth

Here is an honest commentary about the state of the church with regards to abundance of false prophets and the silence of true prophets in institutionalized religion today. How many times have we heard these so-called prophets in instutionalized religious meetings prophesy in God's name and when one of their prophesies doesn't come to pass, they make excuses that "enough people prayed to stay God's hand" or "God changed His mind"? As one person put it, "If God still required prophets to be killed for wrong prophecies, they'd all be dead. The prophets of today do not in any way resemble the prophets of the Old Testament. A prophet's message has always been "repent". You don't hear that much today." (see "Prophets and "unchurched""). How true this is!

Two Kinds of Persecution

Know the Truth

This article should bring some sobriety to those who think that everything is just fine and dandy in the American church today. God will not allow the charade of institutionalized religion that we call "church" in America to continue for much longer. The impending "judgment persecution" is going to reveal those who are really His and those who were never known by Him - Matthew 7:21-23. Only those walking in true holiness and in the power of the Holy Spirit will remain and the church will once again be a force to turn the world "upside-down." Acts 17:6.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Discern the Lie

This post on the Five Doves website shows just how far off the church really is in it's discernment of what is Scriptural and what is not. You have this pastor pointing "her" finger at a man and telling him that "in 10 years he was going to be the wealthiest man in Tampa." She is practicing fortune telling and encouraging the service of mammon all in the same breath, yet the author of this post does not discern any of that. The only thing that he is able to conclude is that the man is going to be "left behind" in the "rapture" because the "rapture" is going to happen very soon. So here you have "Christian divination," the love of mammon, and a blind belief in the false "fire-escape" doctrine all in one. Is it any wonder that the church has no godly influence in the earth? God help us!

"Out of Church...Really"

Know the Truth

A poster on the Five Doves website posted an insightful reply to the same post I referenced yesteday regarding "Un-Churched Christians" The author truly understands what the Church is all about!

Defending the "American" Idea of Church

Discern the Lie

In this post, the author uses an oft-quoted out of context Bible verse to defend the American idea of "church" - Hebrews 10:25. While it is true that we should have relationships with other believers in order to "consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works" (Hebrews 10:24), it certainly cannot be concluded that the writer of the book of Hebrews was in any way referring to the institutionalized religious meetings we call "church" in America today. The whole concept of believers meeting in a "church" building, passively sitting in their pews while one man runs the "show" was completely foreign to the practices of New Testament Believers. Church wasn't a building, nor was it a meeting. Church was their lives - they didn't need to go to a building once or twice a week on Sundays or Wednesdays because church (being the Body of Christ) was what they lived. We believers in Jesus Christ are the Church. The institutionalized church in America has absolutely no use to God. It is dead, and the sooner true believers come out from among her and be separated to what God is doing to build His true Church, the sooner we will see God's purposes accomplished in the earth.

The Political Lesser of Two Evils

Know the Truth

Here's a website - BushRevealed.com - The Truth About President Bush along with a WorldNetDaily commentary - New Christian site: Don't vote for 'W' that shows that some Christians may finally be realizing that our hope is not in politics. I agree wholeheartedly with the statement made in the article that believers should "reject the notion they have no other choice but to vote for the lesser of two evils," but I don't agree that the answer lies anywhere else in poliitics. The kingdom of God is within us and the hope for mankind is the gospel of Jesus Christ. You cannot legislate morality. Making our government "Christian" only leads to corruption in the church and the perversion of the gospel. The question is not whether a believer in Jesus Christ should vote for George W. Bush or not. The question is whether a believer in Jesus Christ should vote at all.

"Culprits in the Pulpits"

Know the Truth

This article is about research documenting that only one half of protestant "pastors" have a biblical world view. Judging from the current state of the church, it is quite apparent that most of the other half either preach some form of false doctrine, or are spiritually abusive in that they use their self-appointed positions to rule over and steal from the people in their congregations. They are the culprits in the pulpits who preach a false gospel that makes Jesus palatable to the masses. It's a "what can God do for you" mentality instead of the gospel of repentance, and the cross. It's aim is to keep self-centered people coming for more so that the tithe baskets keep getting filled up and the wolf in sheep's clothing can continue the masquerade. God is calling the remnant out from institutionalized religion to be the true church with the true gospel and to accurately represent Him, demonstrating holiness and the power of His Son over sin in the life of the believer.

Why are So Many Leaving the "Church"

Know the Truth

Here is an article that gives us a glimpse into what God in doing in the earth to call the remnant of true believers out of the institutional apostate religious organizations we call churches. This certainly is my observation and accurately describes the experiences of those I know who are fed up and sickened with the state of the so-called "church" and who are obeying God's command to "come out from among them and be ye separate..." 2 Corinthians 6:16-18.

"How Tradition Has Replaced Written Scripture".

Know the Truth

Here is a Five Doves post I can agree with. It's a parody of a current day religious service that you can witness at your local institutionalized religious building on any given Sunday morning which is written like 1 Corinthians 14:26-40. The truth that this little parody represents, although humorous, is very sad and those of us who truly belong to the Lord Jesus Christ should grieve over the present state of His church in the earth. It bears no resemblance to what God intended as outlined in the New testament - none at all. Cry out to God that He would raise up a remnant who will come out from among her and be separate. Pray that God will break you and make you into what you need to be to demonstrate the power of His Son over sin in the church and in the earth. 2 Corinthians 6:16-18.

Mad Cow Disease In the "Church"

Know the Truth

What a great commentary on the state of the so-called church in America. It's time for us to take a stand and confront these culprits in the pulpits who are feeding us this garbage. We need to let them know that we ain't gonna eat it no more. May God's glory be reflected in the Church once again! May the remnant who have not bowed their knee to Baal come forth and openly confront all that is not of God coming from the mouths of these wolves in sheep's clothing that the world may see an acurate demonstration of the Body of Christ in the earth. Jeremiah 23:1-2

All For a Sick Squirrel

Know the Truth

Since my last update regarding the Five Doves post entitled "Healing Animals in Jesus' Name", I have received another response from the site moderator who seems to be hung up on the fact that I used the term "damnable heresy" in my very first email to him regarding this issue. Here is his response to me along with my email reply to his response where I attempt to clarify the issue once again.

Believing a Lie for the Animal's Sake

Know the Truth

Yesterday, I commented on a Five Doves post entitled "Healing Animals in Jesus' Name". I attempted to post a reply, but was denied the opportunity by the site moderator. I was sent a response that basically said that it's not wrong to pray for animals in Jesus' name. Here is my email reply to his response. These people may think that their animals are special and that's fine, but God did not send His only Son to suffer and die as an atonement for the healing of animals. Are we in fact witnessing a fulfillment of 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 where God is to send a strong delusion to them that love not the truth that they should believe a lie? Judge for yourself.

Atonement for Animals?

Discern the Lie

Good grief!!! This post on the Five Doves website shows just how misguided believers are today due to the gross heresy and false doctrine coming from the culprits in the pulpits. This lady is talking about pleading the blood of Jesus over a sick squirrel, whispering in the animal's ear that Jesus loves it, and praying for it to be healed by the stripes of Jesus. To say that the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for mankind's redemption at the cross and that the stripes He received when "He was bruised for our iniquities and wounded for our transgressions" can in any way be applied to sick animals is downright blasphemous. It is only the damnable heresy and false teaching that is prevalent in the church today and our willingness to accept it without discernment that leads to such unscriptural determinations. I am posting a reply to the site which should be listed there tomorrow if the moderator allows it.

Is It Right to Judge?

Know the Truth

Here is a much needed article for the Church of Jesus Christ on the importance of righteous judgment. It rightly dispels the false notion that "we Christians ought not to judge one another" which is often used against those who attempt to expose heresy and false teaching in the Church. It would do every true believer in Jesus Christ well to read this article and practice what it says.

Hypocrisy and the Undiscerning "Church"

Discern the Lie

These two news stories are enough to make any true believer in Jesus Christ cringe in embarrassment at the arrogance and hypocrisy of the so-called "Christian Right" - WorldNetDaily: Pat Robertson: It's Bush in a 'blowout' and FOXNews.com - Politics - Pat Robertson: God Says Bush Will Win in 2004

The "Christian Right" does not represent God nor the true Church of Jesus Christ in the earth. God is not about revealing His future plans to men who bow down to the god of Mammon Luke 16:13. Nor does he speak to those who lie to and steal from others in order to build their own worldly kingdoms of power and greed in the name of His Son Matthew 23:1-33. He doesn't fellowship with those who have prophesied falsely in His name either Deuteronomy 18:20. The world is not stupid. They know a hypocrite when they see one and this kind of arrogance does nothing but bring reproach on the kingdom of God. What possible benefit to God or His kingdom can come from Pat Robertson making such a statement? None at all. Perhaps the beneficiary, as the world already discerns is the kingdom of Pat himself and his agenda to gain recognition, power and mammon at the expense of the undiscerning church.

"What Voices Are Really Speaking Here?"

Know the Truth

Here is a post on the Five Doves website where the author is not ashamed to admit that all this foolish date-setting is not of God. Her insight is commendable. At the end of her post though, the site moderator left his comments that sadly show how some people just don't get it.
