"2004 - Year of the Christian Rapture" - NOT!
Discern the Lie
This post on the Five Doves is yet another false prophesy that serves only to get our eyes off God's purpose for our lives and bring disillusionment to those who put their hope in it rather than in God and His Word found in the Scriptures. We Christians need to ignore this garbage and find out why we are on the planet and what God has for us to do while we're here. False prophesies like this one would have us looking to escape this planet without regards to what the Master has specifically purposed for us to do with our lives to accomplish His purpose on the earth. People who naively believe these deceptions fall into a trap set by God's greatest enemy causing them to forfeit their destiny in Christ for a fairy tale that has no basis in the Scriptures when interpreted using the principles of sound hermeneutics. There is so much that God has for us to do that isn't getting done because we're sitting around speculating on a day and an hour that is not coming - and these false prophets and those who follow them will give account on the day of judgment because they actively hinder the work of God by their heresy. If you doubt whether this "Rapture" doctrine is really false, read either or both of these books that present a clear Scripturally based explanation of why the modern day end times teaching is not true: "Matthew 24" by Stanley W. Paher and "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar. They both can be found at the Simple Truth website.

"California Earthquake : 100 Day Rapture Warning" - Oh No!
Discern the Lie
Here is yet another post on the Five Doves website that is falsely prophesying the day of the so-called "Rapture". According to this writer, the "Rapture" will occur on April 1 of this coming year. Besides the fact that the "Rapture" teaching is a false doctrine that cannot be found in the Scriptures when one uses the principles of sound hermeneutics to interpret them, it must also be noted here, lest we forget, that when speaking of His return at the end of the world, Jesus said that "ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." Matthew 25:13 We in the Church must stop wasting our time trying to figure out when we're going to get out of here and start doing the things that God has purposed and planned for us to do while we're here. Then when He does come, He will find us doing what we're supposed to be doing. No doubt, April 1, 2004 will come and go without event and yet another false prophet will set another date so that those who like to have their ears tickled can be yet once again seduced away from their purpose and destiny in Christ.Read either or both of these books for a clear Scripturally based explanation of why the modern day end times teaching is not true: "Matthew 24" by Stanley W. Paher and "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar. They both can be found at the Simple Truth website.

"Feeling Right: Not the Same as Being Right"
Know the Truth
This post found on the Five Doves website is another artilcle by A. W. Tozer that so insightfully reveals the true state of the church today. If believers practiced what the Bible teaches, this world would be turned "upside-down". Acts 17:6Wednesday, December 10, 2003
"Spiritual Authority: The Word and the Testimony"
Know the Truth
On the Five Doves website today, this post which is a copy of an article by A. W. Tozer helps to remind us of the importance of going to the Scriptures as the final authority on all matters of Christian experience and doctrine. Oh, that the church would heed this advice! So many of the modern-day teachings in the church do not pass this test. It's easy to see why the church is in the ineffective state it's in when you perform this litmus test on the false doctrines and practices being promoted by the "culprits in the pulputs". The prosperity teaching, the end-times rapture doctrine, the signs and wonders movement, the tithe, politics, "Christian rights" are just a few of the many lies being fed to the church that are not Scripturally sound doctrine or practice.God's Word is true. Learn the principles of sound hermeneutics and take everything you hear coming from the mouth of any teacher or preacher to the Word of God in prayer and see if the things he is saying are so. You may be saving yourself and those you love great embarassment and disappointment come judgment day. 1 Timothy 4:16

Longing For His Return
Know the Truth
This post found on the Five Doves website reveals the heart-cry of a man who in the midst of the moral decadence of society longs for the return of Jesus Christ in the "Rapture". This cry is in the hearts of many in the church today who love God and are waiting anxiously for Him to sweep them out of this wicked world before things get really bad here in the "Tribulation".The truth is that while focusing on their "fire-escape", these believers never come to the knowledge of who they are in Christ here in this life. They are being robbed of their purpose and destiny in the kingdom of God that is here on earth through His body. God is not impressed with how much we know about the end of times. What He's impressed with is that we find His will and glorify His Son with the life He gives us while we are here. Our sitting around waiting and doing nothing is one of the contributing factors to why society is so wicked.
I challenge anyone who believes the Rapture/Tribulation doctrine to read these two books - they will reveal many of the errors in the popular end-times teaching that we all have been exposed to. "Matthew 24" by Stanley W. Paher and "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar - which can be found at the Simple Truth website. After reading either or both of these books, get before God and seek Him for what He specifically wants you to do to affect your world for Jesus Christ. Then become an active demonstration of the life and power of the Son of God through you to this wicked, dying world and leave the timetable of future events to God.

Unbelieving Believers
Know the Truth
WorldNetDaily: Church doesn't think like Jesus, News from Agape Press, How revealing these articles are regarding the state of the church on the earth. The deception, the lies, the heresy, the false doctrine, the easy believism and cheap grace, the rapture teaching, the prosperity teaching, the lying signs and wonders movement, the "Christian" right are all having an impact on the church and look where they have brought us.Jeremiah 5:30-31 LITV
